Friends of Lake Robinson Seek Volunteers for Annual Clean Up Day
The Friends of Lake Robinson, along with the Ocean Conservancy, will host its 11th annual lake cleanup day Saturday September 15th from 9 AM – 11 AM. The cleanup is part of an international event sponsored by the Ocean Conservancy that encourages volunteer groups to clean up coastlines of lakes, rivers and oceans throughout the world in September. The group has set a goal to collect 20 bags around Lake Robinson and Mays Bridge Road.

When: Saturday, September 15th from 9 AM – 11 AM
Where: J. Verne Smith Park on Lake Robinson, 2544 Mays Bridge Road, Greer SC 29651
The cleanup will primarily focus on Lake Robinson and Mays Bridge Road. Interested volunteers should RSVP to [email protected] and bring gloves to help in the effort. Residents living lakeside are also encouraged to join the effort by cleaning property between their yard and the lake.
