Barista Alley Announces Second Location

Barista Tiny to Open July 26

GREER, S.C. – July 24, 2019 – Barista Alley, a specialty coffee and smoothie shop, plans to open its second location this week.

After more than two years in Greer Station, Barista Alley owner Andrew Carter is opening his next location in Greer on July 26. The new coffee shop, named Barista Tiny, is located in the Lake Walk Tiny Home Community off Highway 101.

The tiny coffee shop, first of its kind in the Upstate, came to fruition after the owners of Olive Nest Tiny Homes, Melodie and Mary, proposed the idea to Andrew Carter. Mary and Melodie, Barista Alley regulars, saw the need for a coffee shop in Lake Walk and thought Barista Alley would be a great fit. So in December of 2017, Barista Tiny was created and the work began.

Barista Tiny’s tagline, “Specialty Coffee Done Small,” is a perfect description of the 500 square foot establishment. But don’t let the size fool you. The new location features a drive thru, as well as a large outdoor space with a green area, fire pit, lawn games, playground and surround land for food trucks to visit during peak hours. Barista Tiny will mirror the same coffee & tea menu as Barista Alley.

“We’re excited that we get the opportunity to create more of what we love. Barista Tiny might be small, but we forsee it making a big impact on the greater Greer community,” said owner Andrew Carter.

Barista Tiny is located at 301 N. Highway 101. The grand opening is scheduled for Friday, July 26. The coffee shop’s summer hours will be Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
